Shirkah: Journal of Economics and Business is a peer-reviewed journal published three periods in a year (Janury - April, May - August, and September - December) by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia in collaboration with Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (see the MoU manuscript).  The journal aims to encourage and disseminate research on area of economics and business, mostly covering primary economic fields, i.e., Economics, Finance, Business & Management,  and Accounting (see Focus & Scope)

Based on the current result of accreditation (295/C/C3/KPT/2026), Shirkah: Journal of Economics and Business has been nationally accredited SINTA 1 by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education as a scientific journal with good quality of published content and excellent management, active until Volume 15 No. 1 2029. This journal is  a member of Crossref.org, thus all articles published in this journal have a unique DOI number.

We are delighted to announce that Shirkah: Journal of Economics and Business has officially been accredited as a SINTA 1 (Science and Technology Index) scientific journal, the highest level of national journal accreditation in Indonesia. This prestigious recognition is granted based on the Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan Nomor 295/C/C3/KPT/2026, dated 2 January 2026, concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for the 2025 Two-Year Period.
